Intimidation (or fear) occurs when you feel a person or a situation you are dealing with is stronger, bigger and more powerful than you. Intimidation always evokes a sense of inferiority. Other characteristics include: to fill with fear, to coerce or inhibit by threats; to browbeat, bulldoze or frighten into submission; a leveling of any spirit of opposition by creating a paralyzing and immobilizing fear or panic.
